BIO

Nerf Mophix is a collaborative project between cousins Eirik Korvald and Jan Tore Andresen, based in Drammen, Norway. After their previous band went on a permanent hiatus due to members living far away from each other, making it difficult to maintain frequent band practises, Eirik and Jan started dabbling more in electronic music. This led to the formation of Nerf Mophix in November of 2011.

They kept working on their production skills and uploading material to their SoundCloud page, before releasing the song ‘Higher’ featuring vocals by the very talented Anna Slinning in 2013. Nerf Mophix released their first album entitled ‘Octagon’ the same year. Later that year they also released the song ‘After I Go’ featuring vocals by Rudi Remme, a good friend of theirs.

In 2014 they released EPs ‘ART / WORK’ and ‘Skydive’. 2015 marked the release of their EP ‘Avant Garde’, which saw the duo take their music in a different direction compared to their previous releases, focusing a bit more on consistent songwriting and melodies rather than large drops and build ups.

Nerf Mophix released their second full length album ’Nocturnal’ in 2016. The album saw the duo take a more vocal-oriented approach to songwriting, featuring vocals from both Jan and guest vocalist Lenea, a Norwegian singer/songwriter.
